On Wednesday, October 7, DAMA Days continues with three concurrent workshops from 1:00–5:00 PM. These sessions are designed for deeper learning, practical application, and takeaways participants can bring back to work.

Workshop A

Building a Live Data Quality Dashboard with Claude Code

1:00–5:00 PM · Hands-On AI · Andrew Ahlfield

Build a working data-quality dashboard in a single afternoon using plain-English direction, a public dataset, quality rules, scorecards, and a shareable published result. No coding experience is required.

Workshop B

From Data to Decision: Communicating for Executive Action

1:00–5:00 PM · Leadership · Nicky Espinosa

Reframe a real data initiative around the business decision it enables. Practice concise executive communication, build a stronger leadership story, and develop an influence plan for moving work forward.

Workshop C

Data Quality Techniques

1:00–5:00 PM · Data Quality · Dan Myers

Learn how to define data-quality rules, communicate metrics, monitor results over time, select improvement techniques, and use LLMs to support anomaly classification and diagnosis.

Workshop selection: Workshop-selection instructions will be provided to registered workshop attendees as the selection process is finalized.

DAMA Days is designed not only for formal learning, but also for the hallway conversations, peer connections, exhibitor visits, book browsing, and shared meals that strengthen the Minnesota data community.

Check in, enjoy morning pastries, reconnect with colleagues, and begin exploring the Exhibit Hall and book store before the day’s sessions begin.

Catered buffet lunch

12:00–1:30 PM

A catered buffet lunch is included for registered attendees. Lunch is intentionally scheduled with time for conversation, informal networking, and a more relaxed conference experience.

CDMP Certification Opportunity

Pay-If-You-Pass CDMP exam opportunity

DAMA-MN has been approved to host onsite Certified Data Management Professional exams during DAMA Days 2026. This Pay-If-You-Pass opportunity allows eligible participants to sit for the exam without upfront exam payment and pay the exam fee only if they pass.

Eligible participants may sit for a 90-minute proctored CDMP exam onsite during DAMA Days. Registration and DAMA-MN membership are required.

The CDMP Fundamentals passing score is 60%. DAMA-MN’s recent study group participants have had a strong track record, with more than 95% of participants in the last two study groups passing.
